Your support of UBC’s HeadsUpGuys has the potential to save lives, by empowering men and their families to seek help during their darkest hours.
Relying solely on donor support, the UBC’s HeadsUpGuys team has created the world’s most comprehensive resource for men fighting depression and preventing male suicide (men account for 75% of suicides in Canada). Since launching in 2015, 3.5 million people have visited the HeadsUpGuys website.
Their newest feature, a Therapist Directory launched in May 2021, has already facilitated nearly 10,000 connections between visitors and therapists. This speaks to the need for a safe and non-judgmental community, which HeadsUpGuys is taking the lead in cultivating.
Together, we are supporting men to live healthier lives and breaking the stigma that far too often prevents men from seeking help – give today.
