CEDAR Summer Camp
Give to CEDAR Summer Camp and support fun scientific learning opportunities for Indigenous youth!
This annual camp provides Indigenous youth with the chance to explore the UBC Vancouver campus, located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people. Youth learn more about research being conducted by students and researchers on campus, participate in daily educational and recreational activities, and are inspired to envision their own future in post-secondary education.
All opportunities are presented in a culturally relevant context to help Indigenous youth develop a comfortable relationship with the campus, faculty, and the UBC Indigenous community.
Hundreds of Indigenous youth have attended the camp over the years, with several participants returning as students in a variety of degree programs.
As one camper says: “All the other camps were fun, but I think CEDAR was 10/10!”
