With a collection of over 5400 different kinds of plants from the province and around the world, UBC Botanical Garden is a valuable resource for researchers, students, and the public on plant biodiversity and ecosystems. Help strengthen the garden’s research and outreach initiatives by donating to the Botanical Garden Donation Fund.

Established in 1916, UBC Botanical Garden originally set out to study the native flora in British Columbia. Since then, the mission has expanded to include research, education, conservation, and community outreach. The Garden offers opportunities for on-site research and training, and diverse programming such as field trips for low-income and at-risk youth to experience nature.

By educating the public on the importance of biodiversity, sustainability, and conservation, UBC Botanical Garden aims to preserve plant biodiversity in BC and worldwide. Join these efforts and give today!

Let's stop time on April 5!
