Dental students face many challenges—from academic pressure to the increasing cost of living—which makes it difficult to prioritize their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. But students are at the heart of what we do, and we must support them to thrive.

You can help by giving to the UBC Faculty of Dentistry’s 60th Anniversary Student Wellness Fund! This fund is open to all dental hygiene, doctor of dental medicine and graduate students to help them tackle real-time issues such as food insecurity, improving physical health and mindfulness, and will be offered through the faculty’s in-house counselling program.

Gifts to the Faculty of Dentistry’s 60th Anniversary Student Wellness fund provide direct support to students in need, creating a healthy path for them to graduate and reach their full potential as future oral health care professionals, researchers, educators and community advocates.
