As Dean of UBC’s Faculty of Land and Food Systems, Dean Rickey Yada (BSc 1977, MSc 1980, PhD 1984, Hon. DSc) has been on a continuous journey of trying to offer more support for our students and removing financial barriers. For the past seven years, Dean Yada has worked closely with students including as a mentor in the Faculty mentorship program. The desire to support students and recognize those behind the scenes has led Dean Yada to recently establish his own named award to recognize students who have championed the Faculty.

We invite you to show your support by making a gift to this new endowment for students in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems who have demonstrated outstanding community service, volunteerism and leadership skills.
