UBC Student Food Security Initiative
Ensure today’s students stay healthy and resilient.
Every student deserves to focus on their studies without the burden of wondering where their next meal will come from.
At UBC, we are deeply committed to the health and wellbeing of our campus community, especially in ensuring food security—a key component to healthy living.
The UBC Student Food Security Initiative helps students overcome financial barriers to food access. By offering a range of student-led and community-led programs and initiatives, we are taking steps to ensure every student has the means to succeed.
Our initiatives include:
- The UBC Alma Mater Society Food Bank
- The Graduate Student Society Acadia Food Hub
- UBC Sprouts
- The UBC Food Hub Market
- UBC Meal Share Program
Food insecurity is a challenge that can affect academic performance, mental health and overall student success. By supporting the UBC Student Food Security Initiative, you are investing in the wellbeing of our students and allowing our programs to make an ever bigger impact on the community.
A lack of food should not be something students need to worry about. Donate to the UBC Student Food Security Initiative today to help students access affordable and healthy meals.
