The UBC Thunderbirds men’s and women’s golf programs have built an impressive tradition of success. In fact, UBC women’s team were just awarded UBC Du Vivier Team of the Year!!

The stellar 2022-23 season was capped off with a clean sweep of the 2023 NAIA National Championships in Mesa, Arizona (Men) and Moline, Illinois (Women). Both teams are currently US National champions—something to really celebrate within the golf and UBC community. 

The women’s team also won the 2023 Golf Canada Championship in London, Ontario. The fall 2023 season started with two Cascade conference wins (Oregon), and dual success at the Canada West Championships (BC) in October. Now the teams are looking to maintain and build on that success to repeat as NAIA champions in 2024.

In addition to this success on course, both teams are currently well above a 77% team academic average–an impressive feat for balancing golf and top academic programs at UBC.
