Forestry

UBC's Faculty of Forestry, Canada's largest forestry school, welcomes 1,600+ students from 40 countries annually. A key commitment of UBC Forestry is to tackle pressing global issues that range from climate change to habitat loss, and urbanization. We accomplish this through the provision of world-class research, education, and community outreach that is pushing boundaries and moving the dial forward on innovative solutions. However, we can't do it alone. Will you join us in creating a more sustainable future by supporting two crucial initiatives on this Giving Day?

Your contribution to the Forestry Student Emergency Fund empowers students facing sudden financial hardships, ensuring that they can overcome obstacles and continue their studies to become leaders in the profession. Additionally, your support for the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest Renewal Project will help establish a hub for nature-based research and education. This project will extend the realm of possibilities for innovative and hands-on research and education at the forest, as well as assist us in further engaging and inspiring members of the public and future forestry leaders. Together, let's make Giving Day a meaningful step toward a more sustainable future.
