UBC attracts some of the most outstanding undergraduate students in the world, many of whom go on to make influential discoveries and innovations that improve lives and shape thriving societies. Their creative thinking is fueled by strong research skills that are developed and nurtured through their library research.

UBC Library offers a wealth of information and expertise, and students must learn how to properly use all it has to offer. The UBC Undergraduate Prize in Library Research highlights the importance of information literacy by encouraging students to engage deeply with the library’s resources and collections—gaining knowledge and skills that will stay with them long after graduation.  Gifts to the UBC Undergraduate Prize in Library Research will support the next generation of leaders to be informed knowledge seekers, equipped with the analytical and research expertise necessary to make insightful decisions.

In a world where misinformation is dangerously rampant, there has never been a more important time to encourage the leaders of tomorrow to develop the best possible research skills. Give today!
