Student Food Security Initiative
With rising costs of groceries, many students face difficult choices between paying for essentials and covering their food expenses. The UBC Student Food Security Initiative addresses a fundamental need on campus by helping students access affordable, healthy meals so they can focus on their studies without the strain of food insecurity.
The UBC Student Food Security Initiative offers support to a range of student-led and community-led programs and initiatives including the UBC Alma Mater Society (AMS) Food Bank, the Graduate Student Society Acadia Food Hub, UBC Sprouts and the UBC Food Hub Market.
A donation today can provide support to students in need, helping to ease the mental and physical toll of food insecurity and allowing them to thrive in their academic and personal lives.
Please join us today by donating to the UBC Student Food Security Initiative and ensure every student has access to the nutrition they need to succeed.
Student Testimonials:
“The UBC Food Hub Market and UBC Sprouts always feel like a safe space to me. I love how the Food Hub posts recipes around the market and sells the ingredients to make them.”
